Irish-born singer-songwriter Megan O'Neill's genre-crossing music has been garnering increasing amounts of attention, with The Irish Examiner describing her as One to Watch in 2022.
Deemed a "rising star" by uDiscover and Timeout Magazine London, Megan O'Neill songs have received great attention over the past year - including her recent single Ireland, which hit over 400,000 views on social media during release month and was picked up and shared by none other than Olivia Newton-John (a self-proclaimed Megan O’Neill fan!).
Time in a Bottle - a bonus track from the album, was featured in episode one of hit Netflix TV Show Firefly Lane. Just one week later, Megan performed the song live on the RTE Late Late Show - reaching an audience of approximately 2 million with the single charting that same weekend in Ireland. Time in a Bottle was the highest new entry on the Irish Homegrown Charts and playlisted by RTE Radio 1.
2022 promises to be huge for Kildare-based Megan with two EPs now ready for release. Her latest material sees her venturing into new territory, seamlessly merging her folk, storytelling roots with alternative rock, ambient, sophisticated pop and electronic elements.
Nautilus is a central part of Megan’s expansive soundscapes and is now a firm fixture in both the live and studio set up
"The Nautilus has been such an amazing addition to my studio setup and live sound. I couldn't live without it now! Getting back to gigs has been amazing! It was so great to be back playing live and actually getting to reimagine the songs live, with new arrangements. I released an album in lockdown, so getting to play those songs live for the first time was so good!"
